Rio 2016: NZ Cycling gets full qualification

UCI, the ruling body of cycling, has confirmed that, for the very first time, Kiwis has qualified for each field in track cycling for this year’s Rio Olympics.

New Zealand is one of just 3 countries to have accomplished full qualification with Germany and Australia being the other two.

As well as the team pursuit, team sprint and omnium for both women and men, New Zealand has qualified 2 spots for the individual sprint as well as the keirin, again both for women and men.
